AUDIO REEL

A compilation of my various game audio projects that I have been involved in, including the visual novel Syntherapy where I did the voice over editing for thousands of files and lines, a Portal audio replacement mod I made, a fandub of a cut-scene from Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, and audio for Roam 149.

GUN SFX REEL

This is a demo reel I made for gun sound effects that I created out of sound libraries and audio I recorded myself. I wanted to capture a variety of weapons each with a different profile or power level. This was the greatest challenge, creating a realistic, but unique sound  for each weapon. None of the visual footage is mine, just a backdrop to the audio that I made.

MAGIC SFX REEL

This is a demo reel I made for magic sound effects that I created out of sound libraries and audio I recorded myself. I wanted to capture a variety of elemental attacks and buffs. The main challenge here was to layer the sounds in a way that felt powerful and realistic, while also otherworldly and magical. None of the visual footage is mine, just a backdrop to the audio that I made. Music by Square Enix.

SYNTHERAPY

Syntherapy is a fully voice-acted visual novel about mental health. I was tasked with taking about 1000 voice lines, which were collapsed into 4 or 5 long audio files spanning a few hours. I would separate them into individual tracks, examining individual takes, picking the best fit, balancing them, and then sending them off to be implemented into the game. The challenge here was the sheer scale of the project and that I would be tackling audio on its own. In the end, the audio came out great and helps convey the story.
